+ Retail Management

  • JCPenney - Worked in the shoe department for about a year and became one of the top-selling shoe personnel within the store.
  • Macy's - Starting working at Macy's in the Mens Suit Department in 1999 and continued working there throughout college.
  • Sears - Once I graduated from the University of Louisville, I started my management career in retail at Sears as the Assistant Store Manager over Softlines.  Within 6 months, I was promoted to the Hardline Manager over appliances and electronics.  I left Sears in the summer of 2006 to help jump start a family business called Perfect Touch Interior Remodeling.
  • J.P. Morgan Chase Bank—After working in remodeling for three and a half years, I started my banking career at Chase Bank. After about two years, I was promoted to the Small Business Specialist position. Throughout my time at Chase Bank, I became one of the Top Bankers in Investments, Deposits, Business Accounts, and Loans. I left Chase in 2016 to pursue my career in Business-to-Business Sales at Integrity One Technologies.
  • Bass Pro/Cabela's—In August 2022, I resumed my career as the Senior Group Sales Manager at Cabela's. All of my education and business skills helped turn a broken store into a dominant player in our market. In 12 months, we went from last place in our region to second place. We improved our customer service scores and boosted our miscellaneous income. I performed well until February of this year, when the company decided to reorganize several positions, including mine.   I was offered a severance package with an open door to return when a position became available.
